How to find usWe are located in a peaceful conservation area on the eastern side of St.Ives Bay, close to the magnificient sandy beach at Gwithian that stretches for 3 miles. The "Towans" (Cornish for grassy sand dunes) cover many acres of SSSI conservation area and are ideal for walking and taking in the stunning scenery.
Sandbank is situated in the heart of St. Ives Bay and within 2 miles of Hayle. St. Ives and Carbis Bay are also within a short drive.
We are ideally located for the beach, touring, walking and watersport holidays, aswell as birdwatching, and within easy travelling distance of all areas of Cornwall with its vast array of attractions.
St.Ives Bay is one of only a small number of Bays world-wide to receive the accolade of being one of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World. There are only two in the UK, the other being Mounts Bay which is only 15 minutes drive away.
DIRECTIONS TO SANDBANK:
Leave the A30 at Loggans Moor roundabout, taking the 4th exit signposted Hayle. At the double mini-roundabout after Lidls, turn right. Approx 1 mile up the hill there is a very sharp left-hand bend and we are the 3rd entrance on the left following the bend. We have a large on-site car park where you will see our reception gate on your left. Please ring the bell on arrival and we'll be on hand to welcome you to your destination and personally show you into your accommodation.
