We are aware that dogs are more often than not an important part of their owner's lives, and Sandbank Holidays are therefore happy to provide dog friendly self-catering accommodation. Dog owners will also be interested to know that our local pub - Red River Inn - was recently voted the number one pub for dogs in Cornwall.
Information and Guidelines for Dog Owners:
BEACH ACCESS
Dogs are not allowed on some West Cornwall beaches between the hours of 8am and 7pm. In St Ives Bay there are NO restrictions on the Upton Towans stretch of beach (directly in front of Sandbank Holidays), but they apply at Gwithian and Godrevy just to the north. A full beach guide for dog owners can be found on the Cornwall Council website or in your Sandbank Holidays welcome pack. Please note: Cornwall Council can impose fines of £50/£80 on dog owners for breaching dog bans or dog fouling.
DOG OWNER CONDUCT
We try to ensure that everybody has a happy holiday so please "scoop that poop!" And we also ask that you don't leave your dog alone for too long as pets can become stressed if abandoned in a strange environment. We want your dog to have a lovely holiday too.
